This resource is intended to help students play with language easily to help them understand how using rich language builds better, more descriptive, more vivid stories.  You will need to adapt this resource to suit the needs of your students.  In this activity we have colour coded our word blocks to better enable you to evaluate how the students have approached the problem.  The yellow blocks represent the starter words of the original sentence, the green blocks are the list words the students could choose from, but supplied by the teacher.  Lastly the orange blocks are blank and are for children to add their own words, should the word they want not be in the list the teacher provided.
