Writing:

In this activity students are asked to experiment with the order of the subject and two clauses in a sentence and experiment with the range of “W” sentence starters in order to find the most powerful sentence and to experiment with meaning.  The students are required to copy and paste the suject and clauses of each example sentence and to move them around to find the most powerful sentence.  The resource has some examples for the students to work with to start.  As a teacher you can either opt to provide the starting sentences, or have the students think of the sentences first, using the “W” sentence starters and then  experiment with the order of the clauses and the subject.
