Computational Thinking PO2

This is the third activity in a series where we are introducing students to the power of the BBC MicroBit within Computational Thinking.

In this activity we continue to build upon the previous Motor Challenge activity.  In this activity the students will learn how to use the radio feature of the Micro:bit to be able to send radio signals from one Micro:bit to another and therefore create a remote control controller for the vehicle they have already created in the previous challenge.  They will need to update the code they have already written and tested in the previous challenge.  The updating of their code will enevitably require some debugging, another great skill they need to acquire.  In the next challenge in this series, the students will have to introduce a servo into the control mix and solve a series of additional challenges, in order to successfully complete this series of Micro:bit challenges.
