Computational Thinking PO1
This activity is a CT PO1 activity. Whilst it is not a task for younger students to attempt, sharp implements and hot glue guns are required to successfully complete this project, it is entirely non-computerised. In reality it is a straightforward technology project, but we follow up this particular activity with some CT PO2/3 activities related to the construction of this cardboard vending machine. In the follow up activities we will be adding servos, batteries, BBC Micro:bits and a whole lot of thinking! Therefore, this non-computerised activity is the pre-cursor to more design and coding for the pimped out versions of the vending machine we have in mind as a starting point for your students to follow their own design and computational thinking challenges related to the vending machine.
