Computational Thinking PO2 – unplugged
This is an example of a Computational Thinking excercise that I have created for students to solve, this one is an “unplugged” activity, which means that it can be solved without using computers. Below is the resource that I give to the students to complete the task, but the task can easily be set up with pegs and a peg board, or Connect 4 pieces and a chessboard, anything really. The video below shows how I have done this exercise with carpet tiles and classroom furniture! Just look at the joy the students demonstrate when they solve the problem, this is what learning should be.
To use this resource, simply make a copy of this resource and rename it so that you become the owner of it then adapt it to meet the learning needs/intentions of your students/planning.
