Computational Thinking PO2/3
This unit is a continuation of our remote-controlled vehicle units that we made earlier and based around the BBC Micro:Bit. To complete this robot challenge, students will have to understand how to program Micro:Bits to speak with each other using the radio send blocks to control motors. The lesson resource also contains links to those activities too. Once the students understand how to combine both the motor challenge skills and the skills learned to make their simple robot, the students should be encouraged to design their own robots and movements. The video that is embedded in the learning resource has examples of other robots that use servos to make different movements, the students should study these for further inspiration and then design and build their own robots accordingly.
