This is a simple activity using a bridge building game from the Internet. The aim of the game is for the students to successfully build a bridge over ever-widening gaps and ensure the bridge is structurally sound for the vehicle to cover, and build it within budget.
Our resource asks the students to screen capture their designs, before testing and also to screen capture the evaluation/score of the resultant test. This way students are accountable for their time using this “game.” It also enables teachers to follow up to see who made the most efficient bridge in terms of success v cost.
