Literacy:

This task is a verbal recount task.  The aim of this resource is to get students to re-tell as much of a story as they can remember.with as much detail as they can using tools such as See Saw or Fotobabble to record their  recount.  Once they have made their recount, you can then ask the students to listen to the recounts of others to compare and contrast the details of their recount.  What was different, what was similar etc. You could also add the requirement for the students to make predictions about the story before it began or after it ended to add complexity to this task.
