Computational Thinking PO1/2 – unplugged

This activity is an unplugged activity.  To make an origami object is to follow a sequence of precise and unambiguous instruction and so is a great unplugged activity for both PO1 and PO2 students.  It also fun and is a great fine motor skill activity for students.

We have extended this activity into a DDDO activity, so that students can interpret just how precise the instructions are and based on their own experience.  We have suggested that they make their own “how to” instructional video to demonstrate their own sequence of precise unumbiguous instructions to create an orgami model.
